Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm Rachael. I am a wedding, portrait, editorial and commercial photographer located in Greenville, SC. This blog is where I post recent images as well as fun stuff from my personal life. Through this blog you'll likely meet: Tyler [my oh so awesome husband], Kayda [our perfect German Shepherd], and Milo [our teenager total punk German Shepherd] as well as some of our awesome clients! Take a look around and if you see something you like - leave me a comment!

P.S. This blog is brand spankin' new and I'll be making a few revisions in the coming weeks...bear with me and try to soak in the awesomeness as it comes. :)

Bryan and Lauren - Married!

I’ve know Bryan since high school, and know Lauren for a while now too - so this was an awesome wedding to shoot. They are both super cool and made the day so much fun! Bryan and Lauren - ya’ll rock.

The beautiful Lauren:

The ladies hung out in the street for a little while…because…well, why not? :)

Yum. Cake. Now I’m hungry.

I love Lauren’s reactions during the toasts! It was hard to choose just one photo to blog!

And here’s a picture of me and my friend Alicia who was a guest at the wedding….yeah, we know we’re awesome. Ha!

David - Baby Portraits

I’ve got more cuteness for you! Meet Mr. David. I just love his expressions!

Emery - Baby Portraits

Seriously, this may be too much cuteness for you to handle. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

And, I saved the best for last :) How awesome is that hat?!!

Tara and Emory - Round two!

I know. I’m a horrible blogger. I should be punished. I’ve just been incredibly busy, but that’s no excuse. Clearly, by the looks of my last post date, I need to get my priorities in order! I’ll get on that right away. Promise.

Now, on to some more pictures from Tara and Emory’s wedding!

Tara and her Father on the carriage ride to the ceremony:

I love these photos of Tara checking out the cloudy sky and then laughing when a few seconds later it started raining. Don’t worry, it’d take more than a couple minutes of rain to ruin such an awesome day.

I’ll leave you with this lovely photo of the flower girl. She makes me smile :)

Tara and Emory - Married!

I loved this wedding. It was one of my favorite weddings of all time. It was beautiful, stylish, full of love, outside……… and there were horses. What more could a girl ask for?? :)

I loved this jewelry that the bridesmaids wore:

The sky was amazing! It ended up raining later on, but it gave us an awesome backdrop for the pictures!

Are you kidding me?!!?! Tara, you are gorgeous!

The awesome flower girl! I love this image with the wind blowing her hair. I have some…umm…very…. different (and awesome) shots of her that you will see in the next blog post…you’ll just have to wait and see what i mean! :)

The beautiful ladies. They made my job too easy.

Here’s some black and white goodness from Tyler:

Can you tell how happy the ring bearer was? :)

Oh, brothers.

Okay, stay tuned! More to come from Tara and Emory’s wedding soon!

Josh and Angela - Married! Round two!

As promised, here are more images from Josh and Angela’s awesome wedding! Presenting….the reception!

The first dance:

Father and daughter dance:

Mother and son dance:

Tyler took this photo of the disco ball - I don’t know why but I love it! :)

The Josh.

The Angela.

Let the dancing begin!

I’ll leave you with this close up shot of some of the writing on the car :)

Josh and Angela - Married!

Josh and Angela are awesome in so many ways. They’re goofy, tons of fun, totally in love, and to top it off, they’re all about good photography. Sweet. I was telling Josh’s mom that they are just one of those couples that I find myself smiling the whole way through the ceremony because after getting to know them, and seeing how happy they are together, I’m just so excited for them! I love it when clients turns into a friends and I end up practically crying through the ceremony! :)

Anyway, like I said, Josh and Angela were all about getting some great photos, and thus I have a ton to share, so I decided to do this in two posts. Here is round one….enjoy!

A few of the ladies….doing…..well, I’m not sure. But it’s cool, whatever it is!

The guys showing off their new pocket watches:

The flower girl and ring bearer walking (actually the flower girl was running!) down the aisle:

I love these next two.

Round two coming soon!

it’s here!

Welcome to the new blog! I finally had enough of the tiny pictures, and un-customized look of the old blog, and just had to upgrade! For those of you who just got here and feel like browsing the archives, you can view the old blog here.

I still have a bit more work to do, but I wanted to get this up and post some recent work (and some exciting news), so bear with me as a few things will be changing in the coming weeks… for the better of course. :)

As always, thanks for visiting! Ya’ll rock.
